Jewell Moreno's Emotional Support Crafts

I was first introduced to macrame as a brownie in girl scouts over 40 years ago. About 10 years ago I picked it up again. Life happens and it was put away again. I needed something to help with my stress and anxiety and crafting does that for me. I love the peace I receive from doing it. I love choosing the colors and the beads or buttons I use to accent each piece. Crafting can ease a lot of mental health issues, and that is why I do it.

I am still a work in progress learning new knots and patterns but it relaxes me and I enjoy doing it. I also love seeing other people's crafts and creations, it bring a little joy and beauty to the world.

As for the lollipops. I was always the baker among my family and friends. Disability took that from me, as I'm unable to stand for long periods of time. Lollipops are easy, and it's fun to choose the patterns, colors, and flavors.
