Rent, Late Fees, and Payment

This page explains when rent is due, what happens when it is late, and how you can pay. Your signed contract is the final word, and it says the same thing.

When Rent Is Due

Rent is due by the third of each month.

When Rent Is Late

On the fifth of the month, unpaid rent is considered late. A late fee of ten percent of your booth rent is added for every day until your balance is caught up. We will email you before this happens, and again while it is happening. Nobody gets surprised by a late fee here.

If We Do Not Hear From You

If we have not heard from you by the fifteenth of the month, your contract is considered terminated and your items become the property of The Feathered Unicorn. We do not want this to happen, and it does not have to. A phone call or an email is enough to keep it from getting that far.

If You Are Having a Hard Month

Life happens. If you are dealing with an illness, an accident, a death in the family, or a serious money problem, tell us as soon as you can and we will do our best to work with you on the late rent. We also ask that someone in your family or your circle of friends knows your items are displayed in our store, so they can reach us if you are not able to.

How to Pay

You can pay by debit card, credit card, check, or cash, either in person at the counter or online through your vendor account. If you pay us in person, we record it in the system for you the same day.

Bounced Checks

A check that does not clear adds a fifty dollar fee, paid in cash. If it happens twice during your contract, we may end the contract.

Your Payment History

Every payment you make is saved in your vendor account, so you can look back at any time and see exactly what you paid and when.
